I have a 6 week old who was long and skinny at birth, and though I was committed to diapering her in cloth diapers, I found that most were too big and bulky on her little frame.
I found that the Thirsties all-in-one fit her the best and in the first few weeks, seemed to work fine, so I went ahead and ordered a dozen. But now that she is older, and taking more milk, the Thirsties have basically stopped working. Even after her morning nap, which is only 90 minutes or 2 hours, the Thirsties are soaked through. And as they are "all-in-one," they are supposed to be covered in a leakproof outer shell! The shell itself is completely wet, as are her clothes, her blanket and her crib sheet. It is not leaking from a poor fit, but the diaper itself is not holding in the wetness.
Sadly the Thirsties fail where a regular old disposable does not...cannot recommend them.
